, I\'m not how much of it was because of the glteun-free casein-free part as opposed to the less crap, fewer preservatives and artificial colouring the comes along with all the deliciousness that is in a typical 4-year old\'s diet.By no means did my son eat an unbalanced or unhealthy diet before trying GFCF but it made me that much more aware of what he was eating on a day-to-day basis.I had to take a few runs at it before I really got the hang of it but I did find it made him more alert and \"present\" while he was on it.As for allergies, he doesn\'t have any that we are aware of (touch wood old greek lady spit) unless you count using pubic toilets which I can hardly blame him for ; )
